Dr. Shaikh Tanveer Hossain is an expert in sustainable agriculture and policy research on rural transformation, organic agriculture, climate resilience, and inclusive growth with more than 31 years of experience in national research, non-governmental and inter-governmental organizations. Professionally championing organic and agroecological approaches, social and gender inclusion, green enterprising, climate resilience, food loss and waste management, Dr. Tanveer’s research focuses on empowering marginalized rural communities, fostering knowledge exchange and delivering actionable solutions to enhance livelihoods and food security across the region. His extensive research on innovative organic agriculture on small farmers’ living conditions has resulted improvement of rural livelihood and brought several professional awards in his career.
